Tinytag Radio is a wireless system consisting of a receiver connected to a PC and a number of radio loggers, that enables users to view the data at their own desk. Simple and easy to install and use, the radio loggers form a wireless network to get data back to a computer where it can then be viewed across the building’s computer network or remotely over the internet. Each radio logger is a self-contained battery powered unit that can receive, log, store and transmit data to other radio loggers, and to the central receiver. The mesh is self-configuring and “mends” itself around changing connections or blocked paths by hopping data from node to node until the destination is reached. This makes the system ideal for use across multiple rooms and galleries were a line-of-sight system cannot function. The system automatically recognises new loggers and be added to on an on-going basis. Units are able to measure temperature and humidity, with a sensor extension cable available for use in sealed display cases or difficult to reach areas.
