Luca Scacchetti

Luca Scacchetti was born in Milan in 1952. In 1972 he took his doctor’s degree at the Faculty of Architecture at the Politecnico in Milan. From 1987 on he lectured at the department of architecture at the Istituto Europeo di Design. From 1990 until 1995 he was head of this department. From 1993 on Luca Scacchetti lectured on the basis of architecture and urban development at the Accademia di Belle Arti Brera in Milan. He participated at numerous conventions and conferences in Italy as well as all over Europe, in East Asia and in the USA. At present Scacchetti designs furniture, lighting appliances and accessories for major Italian and European companies of these sectors. Luca Scacchetti lives and works in Milan.
